Yacutinga Experience
» Three-day and two-night package:
Day 1: Raíces Argentinas / Yacutinga Lodge2.30pm. Leaving from Raíces Argentinas at Puerto Iguazu through the Urugua-I Provincial Park up to the northeast end of the country, where vehicles are changed to continue along 12 km following extremely picturesque rural roads up to the south entrance to the Yacutinga Wildlife Private Shelter.
Arrival in the Lodge, reception, distribution of rooms. Explanation of scheduled activities. Dinner. Evening out, excursion: the rainforest at night. Lodging.
Day 2: Yacutinga Lodge
Early in the morning, there is a floating tour over San Francisco Stream which gets deep into the Natural Reserve. This is the most appropriate moment for a photo-safari and wildlife mapping in general. This sailing tour takes almost 3 hours and crosses in silence the area of the rainforest where trees form a sort of gallery. Return to the lodge in the middle of the morning. Lunch.
Spare time to enjoy the Lodge amenities (swimming-pool, observation towers, footbridge, visitors’ center, etc.).
In the afternoon, interpretative hikes are organized and guided by specialized guides who provide good information about the various natural environments, their flora and fauna. Return to the lodge. Dinner. Lodging.
Day 3: Yacutinga Lodge / Raices Argentinas
Breakfast and time to spare in the surroundings of the lodge, or simply relax in the lodge area.
Return to Puerto Iguazu in the middle of the morning (meeting point Raices Argentinas). Estimate arrival at 1pm.
